Nagarjuna Sagar multipurpose Dam 50 Kms away from Narasaraopet was erected in 1960’s changed the economic conditions of the people of Palanadu. The Kondaveedu Fort (18Kms) is a historical evidence of the Reddy Dynasty that ruled this area in 15th Century.
