Legendary Credentials

Narasaraopet abounds with Saiva SKhetra temples of Siva. The temple of Trikoteswara Swami Devasthanam (11K.M away) is considered one of the most sacred places in South. Brahma, Vishnu, and Rudra visited this place, we can see three peaks on the hill symbolizing the trio.

The steps leading to the temple were built by the king Malraja. The State Government  has also laid a good road way and today the A.P.S.R.T.C buses also play making the  tour a pleasure.

Another Siva temple at Called Kapoteswara Alayam (temple) situated at Chejarla, a village nearly 25 Kms from Narasaraopet. The temple is also called Dakshina Kasi - Kasi of South.
